one3creative and Garman Furniture founder Mike Garman creates each of his design objects by hand in his Houston, Texas studio. Garman began his explorations in furniture design while completing a degree in architecture at the Rhode Island School of Design. This background in building technique allows him to render narrow sections of wood into the robust design objects that define one3creative. His first one3creative model, BNC4, was recognized as “Best Prototype” at the 2009 Interior Design Show in Toronto.

Simple geometry meets precision craftsmanship in the handmade designs of Garman Furniture. Both dynamic composition and the ability to understand each piece as a whole maintain the objects in a robust equilibrium. Designer Michael Garman sources materials low in formaldehyde and VOC and each customizable item is constructed to last 100 years — a testament to the company’s commitment to environmental consciousness and enduring design. Seamless surfaces and concealed joints yield a collection that is at once visually striking, conceptually rigorous, contemplative, and entirely inviting.
